Challenge
Florida is one of the most rapidly built places in the country, yet how it is built is rarely studied as design — only as growth.
Observation
Its architecture is honest about its conditions — heat, salt, water, speed. Its design culture rarely looks at them directly.
Opportunity
To document what the state actually makes — structures, surfaces, materials — and read them as design, not background.
